Bob Westrope
Founder & Executive Director

Bob is a seasoned marketing driven entrepreneur, inventor, change-agent and Certified Executive Coach with 35+ years experience in the information, communications and entertainment sectors.

An ardent evangelist for what he believes in, he was a founding Principal of KPMG Canada’s e-Strategies and Integration Practice and has convinced institutions and investors on two continents to invest in or commit over 50 million dollars to businesses he has founded and led. He is a pragmatic founder/visionary who understands first hand the seduction of chasing an entrepreneurial OR intrapreneurial ‘home run’, and the challenges and frustrations that can result. He has built and managed powerful technology, sales, marketing and operations teams in both Canada and Europe, and managed two successive boards as Chairman.

Marcela Killin
Chief Operating Officer

Marcela is passionate about healthcare, education and social empowerment. She believes in making the “impossible” possible, by empowering people and organizations to reach their full potential.

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Marcela worked as a Financial Analyst and law intern while attending an LLB program with the Faculdades Metropolitanas Unidas (FMU) and a Business Management Degree with Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). She immigrated to Canada in 2014, and since then has been involved in the Not-for-Profit and Education industries. She served as Chief Operating Officer with the Nurse Practitioners Association of Ontario, Event Manager at Discover Your Personal Brand (DYPB) and also volunteered as Host of the Live Your Legend Ajax group and as a member of the Town of Ajax IMPACT team.

Gabriela Touma

Community Development Coordinator

Gabriela Touma is a supply chain and operations expert working in North and South America on making organizations more productive and more adaptable to a dynamic world. She is also the Founder of Joos – an innovative nutrition company that makes it convenient and easy to make great dietary choices.

Zoltan Lorantffy

Community Development Coordinator

Zoltan has over 13 years of professional experience in leadership positions, working to grow and scale companies. He launched the first satellite office in Budapest Hungary 2006 for an international project management company, grew revenues, sales and operations for 3 separate consulting firms globally and has implemented business technologies and strategies for start-ups, helping them grow smarter and faster.

Zoltan is launching a marketing social-media platform and software business with a disruptive agenda to ‘democratize social impact’. He is always driven to work with progressive leaders and organizations, supporting initiatives to grow businesses, connect people and make a positive impact on society.

One of his core beliefs is that “we need a diverse set of individuals together to solve the world’s most pressing problems”. It is this belief that led him to Leaders Expedition.

David Janzen

Community Development Coordinator

David Janzen works on building innovative communities of practice in the Americas and East Africa. He has been involved with building businesses focusing on developing low-cost medical devices, ceramic water filters, B2B Cloud, electronic and mobile health, and currently works on building technology platforms for both large and small scale organizations from the Fortune 500 to brand new startups.

Judith Koke

Director, LEx Museum Project (Volunteer)

Judith Koke is the Director, Professional Learning at the Institute for Learning Innovation. Having held several senior leadership roles in museums over the past decade, she now returns to her roots in Audience and Learning research, with a renewed interest in ensuring the movement of knowledge to action. During her time at the AGO, (2007-2011; 2014-2017) Judy developed and implemented a suite of revenue generating and diverse audience engaging public programs, as well as a strong program of interpretive planning and integrated visitor research.

Prior to her leadership role at the AGO, she spent three years as the Director, Education and Interpretive Programs at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art (2011-2014) in Kansas City, Missouri. She has spent many years as a visitor researcher both at the Institute for Learning Innovation (2004-2007) and as the Manager of Evaluation and Visitor Research at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science (1996-2004).  She has taught in graduate programs at the University of Toronto, the University of Colorado and George Washington University in Washington D.C. Judy has published broadly in the museum field and co-authored Interpretive Planning for Museums: Integrating Visitor Perspectives in Decision Making. 

Most recently, her time as Educator in Residence at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum resulted in an article in January 2018 Museum magazine on a framework for thinking about millennial audiences.
